CAPA has one member in Papua New Guinea, Certified Practising Accountants Papua New Guinea (CPA PNG).
Certified Practising Accountants Papua New Guinea
CPAPNG was formed in 1974. In 1996, an Act of Parliament (the Accountants Act 1996) was passed. The Act governs the activities of the CPAPNG and under the same Act, the Accountants Registration Board (ARB) was also established. Apart from other regulatory functions, the ARB is responsible for registering accountants as Accountants in Practice and Accountants in Employment.
