Association of Accounting Technicians
The AAT is the professional body for accounting staff. The AAT was founded in 1980 and is sponsored by the five major accountancy bodies in UK. They are the ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW and ICAS. Established as a company limited by guarantee and not having a share capitel - under the Companies Act 1948 to 1976.
