Dr. In Ki Joo is New CAPA President
CAPA is pleased to announce Dr. In Ki Joo as the new CAPA President, whom will be taking over office from Kamlesh Vikamsey for the term November 2009 to October 2011. CAPA co-hosted IFAC SMP Forum 2009

Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) co-hosted the 2009 IFAC SMP Forum together with the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) in Beijing on October 28, 2009. The fourth annual forum of the International Federation of Accountants’ (IFAC) Small and Medium Practices (SMP) Committee was attended by over 200 delegates from more than 40 countries; making it the largest gathering in the event’s history so far.  | full story >>



CAPA held Environmental Accounting & CSR Forum in Beijing
The CAPA Environmental Accounting & CSR Forum was held on 31 October 2009 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Beijing, China. The forum, which was held in conjunction with the CAPA Board meeting, was attended by about 50 participants from 16 countries including CAPA members and those involved in the profession.  | full story >>

Representatives of CAPA member bodies attended the ROSC Accounting and Auditing Conference, jointly organized by the World Bank and the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China, at the InterContinental Hotel Beijing.
