CAPA and VACPA to stage Conference focused on developing PAOs

The Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) and the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA), a member of CAPA, are joining efforts to stage a conference focused on developing professional accountancy organisations (PAOs).

Titled "The Vital Role of Professional Accountancy Organisations", the conference will consider the development of the accountancy and audit profession in Vietnam, and the necessary and important role of PAOs within a country's financial infrastructure. The Conference will be held on Thursday, 16 August 2012 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

In addition to the Conference, CAPA is also working with the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) to organise a seminar focused on the success factors and challenges relevant to PAO advancement throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Titled "Realising the Power of PAOs", this event will be held on Friday, 17 August 2012 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
