MOSAIC - Improving cooperation and collaboration between the Accountancy Profession and the Donor Community
In November 2011, the global accounting profession and the donor community came together to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Titled MOSAIC (Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Accountancy and Improve Collaboration), this key initiative wa led by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), representing the accountancy profession, and the World Bank as the leading donor.
The MoU, originally initiated between IFAC's Professional Accountancy Organization Development Committee (PAODC) and the donor community, has been drafted at a high level and is intended to serve as a platform for future cooperation and strategic alignment between the accounting profession and the donor community.
